This site is a side project of Bad Lit: The Journal of Underground Film, which covers the world of creative independent filmmaking, featuring movie reviews, movie trailers, film festival lineups, filmmaker interviews, image galleries, short films, news and more.

Both Bad Lit and Underground Film are maintained by Mike Everleth, who has over 11 years experience as a professional writer, editor and content producer for some of the biggest entertainment sites on the web, including ABC.com, Movies.com and IFILM.com among others. In 2010, he was accepted as a member of the Online Film Critics Society.

He currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.
